16, Queensland Australia, refer to previous post, and thank you :D I guess it just takes practice (LOTS!!), patience, understanding of the horse as an animal and determination, plus research if you’re really serious. I’ve learnt so much by reading articles from the likes of George Morris. Natural talent helps a lot too, but i guess that’s something you’re born with. I’m also really lucky because I live with my horses and have the opportunity to ride them everyday, and even if I don’t ride, at least see them and “bond” with them I guess :)
With GT, around 1.20m at the moment. Planning to get to at least 1.30m by the end of the year, we’ll see what happens. With Bugsy, anywhere from 90cm to 1.05m in competition (due to pony restrictions) and I usually pop over some 1.10-1.15m jumps when I’m mucking around.at home.
